A few weeks ago, I sat down to think about menu and flow. Basically, how could I entertain with only cupcakes at my disposal. But it occurred to me that if I chose the flavors carefully I might just be able to get people to move around the event and meet different people based on what cupcake flavors intrigued them. So I plan on having three different sections of cupcakes and flavors.
We had the 'dainty tea cupcakes' - raspberry, lemon, and vanilla bean. Of course this was the place to get your cup and saucer of tea .
I must admit that I was unsure whether S'more would have it place at a party where the guest were mostly adults. There were three kids at the party and they flocked to the S'more. But to my happy surprise the S'more seemed to bring the kid out in everyone and they were the first flavor to run out!
And my most favorite cupcakes were out in our beautiful garden. This was a vacation in a cupcake with Margarita and Pina Colada.
To the surprise of my guests, they would pop one of these into their mouths and once swallowed, they would remark, "it taste just like the drink!"
